Ming will show a new work at Busan Biennale opening in Sept 2018, curated by Jörg Heiser and Cristina Ricupero.
Entitled Divided We Stand the biennale will showcase the works of 60 international artists responding to today’s global political climate, shaped by the segregation of territories, transnational political interests, and the international exchange and obstruction of information.

Showing a new work Bloody Marys – Song of the South Seas made specially for the exhibition A beast, a god, and a line curated by Cosmin Costinas which weaves through the connections and circulations of ideas and forms across a geography commonly called Asia-Pacific.
The show also travels to Para Site, Hong Kong;TS1 Yangon, Myanmar; Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw.

Frieze Film Commission
Ming has been commissioned to make a new film which will be premiered at Frieze London and broadcast on UK Channel 4’s Random Acts.
Curated by Raphael Gygax as part of Frieze Projects, the film will premiere in the Frieze London Auditorium on Wednesday 5 October at 6pm.

Looking At The Stars is a live performance commissioned by M+, Hong Kong’s future museum for 20th and 21st century visual culture.
Developed in collaboration with young Cantonese opera actors and musicians in Hong Kong, this is the first ‘page-to-stage’ exploration in Ming’s ongoing research into the realms of Cantonese opera and science fiction.
